Beskrivelse
If you love opera this book is a must read. Rudolph Bing was a key figure in opera production from the 1930s into the 1970s. He oversaw the Metropolitan Opera in NYC from 1950-1972, including the move from the “Old Met” to Lincoln Center. The book is chock full of great stories about the leading singers and conductors of the day. There is also a surprising amount of humor in the book, too.
