It is much more than Lytton Stachey. Michael Holroyd created colorful canvas of English life of post-Victorian era. But in its center is large group of people which represents cream de la cream of English Intellectual Elite and yet it feels like he wrote a story of Family. They stayed that way till the end. Amazing book. I was interested for many years in Bloomsbury Group and this book is one of the best. Just monument to them.
