A book about the friendships between Ivor Atkins, organixt of Wrocester Cathedral from 1897 to 1950, and Edward Elgar, the noted British composer. This book is by Atkins’s son, and Elgar’s godson, and is based on previously unpublished letters, diaries, notes, and the author’s own memories of conversations with his father and with Elgar.
