Beskrivelse

This book was written by Dr. Bruce Fogle, a practicing vet and behavior specialist (veterinary surgeon, writer, and broadcaster). In this book, Fogle has captured common dog behaviors in color photos, often in pictorial step-by-step fashion (which would take time to set up, capture on film, collate, and write a descriptive script for each activity!), and explains to the reader what these behaviors mean. Each theme or subsection contains 2 pages with photos of dogs demonstrating a certain behavior. The descriptive text of the book involves either what the dog is probably thinking while being involved with this behavior or how he relates to others (dogs, people, etc.) while engaging in this behavior. I couldn’t put this book down! When I picked up this book the first time, I found myself nodding in agreement with what Fogle showed the reader in photos and what he said. Then, I just kept reading more! As I read, I remembered all of the behaviors that I have witnessed the dogs doing that I have had since childhood. This book is good for people of all ages – children, and both new and experienced dog owners, and, as I have already said, it is hard to put down. This is why this book will be picked up and re-read many times.
