Originally published in 1867, this ostensibly autobiographical narrative chronicles the erotic exploits of the young Captain Edward Sellon. And I do mean young: the sex begins soon after his age accumulates its second digit. The narrative follows him into his twenties and beyond, during which he frequently and explicitely slakes a keen thirst for teenage women, and for one mature and exceptionally talented mature woman. In simple, unblushing and quite competent language, sprinkled with delightful euphemisms of a day gone by, we get to know intimately the Captain’s tastes, his sustained prowess, and, of course, his naughty bits and those of his female acquaintances, rather well.
